On Friday, march 30, 2018, Brother Denzil B. Brickey, was surprised with a party at his place of residence, Stearns Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC in Granite City. He is showen here wearing his new red Past Master's ball cap given to him by the lodge. 

He is flanked by his fellow masons of Triple Lodge No. 835 A.F.&A.M., R.W Brother Jim Tackett D.D.G.M. 7th Couth District (back row far right), and other visiting masons.  The Master of Triple Lodge No. 835, W. Brother Matthew Miller (left of Denzil), presented him with a new masonic bible, a 75-year membership pin, and a commemorative masonic coin denoting the dates of him becoming a mason in 1941. 

In addition, Miller then made Denzil a Honorary Past master of Triple Lodge No. 835 in recongnition of his mnay years of service to the fraternity and presented him with a certificate, a past master's apron, and his past master's red ball cap.  Denzil turned 103 on April 1, 2018. He was also recognized as being a World War II Navy Veteran who served in the Panama Canal region on a repair ship.
